Description
Gannet - a final kick to get airborne.
The biggest North Atlantic sea bird with a wing span approaching 2 metres the Gannet inhabits many of the rocky islands and cliffs in the Scottish Islands. Living in large colonies, some with as large as 30,000 birds in the community, the Gannet is a superb flier and can be seen diving headlong into the sea in search of fish prey.

Son Duncan now spends as much, or more, time on wild-life imagery as on aviation subjects. Your comments much appreciated.
